Private lessons are the perfect way to address your self-defense concerns on your schedule, at YOUR pace. We will work step-by-step to build your skills without the extra stress you might feel in a group class.

I am committed to making you feel safe and supported through each new lesson.

WHO I TEACH:

People just like you! I’ve been teaching teens, college students, parents, professionals, and senior citizens for over 25 years. I believe everyone should learn how to defend themselves!

Whether you’re a beginner looking for a place to get started or an experienced student looking to sharpen your skills, I will customize each session to guide you towards a new level of skill and confidence.

WHAT I TEACH:

My focus is on practical techniques that will empower you not just in a fight, but every part of life. That’s why I love martial arts! Depending on your goals, training can include striking, grappling, takedowns, and weapons work.

In addition to physical drills, we will examine the psychological and emotional components of self-defense. Frankly, your head and heart play a bigger part in defending yourself than six-pack abs and big muscles.

WHERE DO YOU PRACTICE?

We can train together here at the school in Sherman Oaks or at a Los Angeles area location of your choosing.

A single, in-person, one hour lesson is $120.

(If you’d like to train with a friend, just add $20.)

Would you rather train on Zoom or Skype?
That works, too! Let’s find a time that works for both of us.

• Online lessons are $45/half-hour or $75/hour.
